Kiley Lane Parker is an award winning screenwriter, producer, director, and editor. Parker has been working in television, film, and digital media for the past decade. Recently, Parker won the short screenplay competition at the L.A. Comedy Festival for her 30 page script, The Baby Shower, which was filmed in May 2015. In 2013 Parker raised $25,000 on Kickstarter to finish her documentary film, Raising Ms. President, about the reasons why women don’t run for elected office. Raising Ms. President has been aired in theaters and with organizations across the country. Parker often likes to refer to herself as a storyteller, choosing projects that both entertain and inspire. After graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Journalism and Political Science, Parker started her career writing for the Outdoor Life Network with Warren Miller Films. Over the last ten years Parker has received accolades and awards for her documentary and television productions, as well as Addy and Omni awards for her digital and trans-media projects. She currently resides in Louisville, Kentucky with her husband and young daughter, loves to write and the music of Loretta Lynn.
